The Early Learning Coalition of Duval recognizes that parents are their child's best teacher and their best advocate. We also know that in order to fulfill our mission and vision, early childhood programs are vital in fostering supportive relationships with families and vital to helping our community build and support stronger families.
This is why it is so important we work together, and thanks to a generous grant from the Rice Family Foundation, the ELC of Duval is working side by side with some Jacksonville directors, teachers, and parents to develop and plan family engagement strategies and some tools/templates that child care providers can use.
