Lunch and Learn: First to See, First to Support

Wednesday, September 17, 2025, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

You are invited to attend a free, online Lunch and Learn, “First to See, First to Support:  Childcare Educators Leading the Way in Intervention and Early Steps Referrals.” During this event, our guests will speak for about 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A session.  In this session, you will learn how to:

• Strengthen caregiver-educator communication and collaboration before and during referrals;
• Describe the five (5) sequential steps to intervening and the early childhood educator’s role;
• Demonstrate tools to support intervention and conversations with families; and
• Learn the Early Steps referral process/eligibility.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions, share strategies, and learn new techniques. Active participation is appreciated. Participants will receive one (1) in-service hour. No CEUs will be provided.
